2013年10月20日,由中国渔业协会、广西壮族自治区水产畜牧兽医局、南宁市人民政府、广西壮族自治区体育局、广西壮族自治区旅游局主办,广西壮族自治区水牛研究所、广西钓鱼协会、广西休闲渔业垂钓协会等单位承办,中国钓鱼运动协会作为特别支持单位的2013年全国休闲渔业垂钓烹饪大赛在广西渔牧生态园内举办,本次比赛由47个钓鱼爱好者及直系家属组队参加,因为一是休闲比赛,竞技性不强;二是很多都是以家庭为单位来参赛,所以现场气氛融洽,远远看去,欢声笑语,不像比赛,更像大家庭举办的一场盛宴。
