January 1988 to August 2000, our hospital surgical treatment of congenital bowel atresia in 52 cases, now our treatment experience is reported as follows. 1. Clinical data: The whole group of 52 patients, 30 males and 22 females; aged 14 h to 14 d after birth, an average of 2.7 days.
