日本国际合作组织(又称日本国际协力事业团,英文简称JICA),是日本依据其《国际合作组织法》于1974年成立的一个事业机构。属外务省管辖,总部设在东京,国内有分部9个,办事处1个、附属机构13个,国外有办事机构47个。该组织的年活动经费约为2700亿日元,占日本对外开发援助预算的20%。该组织的主要任务是开展与发展中国家政府间的技术合作,同时还执行一些无偿资金援助计划,办理有关海外移民事宜。
Japan International Cooperation Organization (JICA), also known as Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is a business institution established by Japan in 1974 in accordance with its “Law of International Cooperation”. It is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is headquartered in Tokyo. There are 9 branches, 1 branch office, 13 subsidiary offices and 47 foreign offices. The organization’s annual activities funds about 270 billion yen, accounting for 20% of Japan’s foreign aid development budget. The main task of the organization is to carry out technical cooperation with developing country governments, and at the same time implement some unpaid financial assistance programs to handle matters relating to overseas migration.
