Dystrophin is a skeletal protein of muscle cells and plays an important role in maintaining the stability of muscle cells. In recent years, there are many new discoveries on the function of Dystrophin in “full-length” and “truncated” types. These new findings are of great significance for further understanding the function of DMD genes.
