嵊县是驰名中外的经济学家、教育学和人口学家马寅初先生的故乡.作为农村初级中学,如何针对我国严峻的人口形势和农村人口现状,对学生进行人口教育,我们作了如下尝试.一、介绍马老事迹,增强人口意识.马寅初先生1882年6月24日诞生在嵊县浦口镇,1982年5月10日病逝在北京,享年101岁.50年代他任北京大学校长时,以人大代表身份多次回嵊视察,深入调查了解人口情况.1957年7月5日在《人民日报》发表《新人口论》,主张节制生育,控制人口数量,提高人口质量.为以实际行动纪念和弘扬马老精神,学校组织学生学习县教育局编写的《人口常识》,参观马寅初纪念馆,举办马寅初事迹报告会和《人口
Jixian County is the hometown of renowned Chinese and foreign economist, pedagogy, and demographer Ma Yichu. As a junior middle school in rural areas, we have made the following attempts to teach our students population education in response to China’s severe demographic situation and the status quo of the rural population. I. Introducing the story of Ma Lao and enhancing the awareness of the population. Mr. Ma Yuchu was born on June 24, 1882 in Pukou Town, Shexian County. He died in Beijing on May 10, 1982, at the age of 101. When he was the president of Beijing University in the 1950s, The status of the deputies of the National People’s Congress repeatedly visited the inspectors and conducted in-depth investigations to understand the population situation. On July 5, 1957, the “New Population Theory” was published in the People’s Daily, advocating birth control, controlling the population, and improving the quality of the population. To commemorate the actual actions and To promote the spirit of Ma Lao, the school organizes students to study the “General Knowledge of the Population” prepared by the County Bureau of Education, visit the Ma Yichu Memorial Hall, hold the Ma Xiangchu Deeds Presentation Conference and the "Population.
