This article was published in the Soviet Union “World Economy and International Relations” 1979 the eleventh. Although the author mostly based on the information provided by Western books and magazines, it partly reflects the current Soviet scholars’ views on the economic development of some types of developing countries. The translation is provided for reference by relevant personnel. In the translation, the anti-China part of the text and some redundant paragraphs were deleted.
