李泰辉,研究员、教授,现任广东省微生物研究所华南微生物资源中心主任、中国菌物学会常务理事、中国农学会食用菌委员会常务理事。1978年考入广东省科技学校,1980年进入广东省微生物研究所工作,1988年获广东省科学院微生物学专业硕士学位,2000年获中山大学植物学专业博士学位。1980年至今,他一直从事大型真菌资源调查与分类、食药用菌基础与应用和微生物生态学等研究工作,涉及的学科有微生物学、菌物学、食用菌学、生物系统分类学、生态学和分子生物学等。他带领的学术团队已完成或正在承担的国家、联合国或省(部)的科研项目有30多项,其中国家项目10项,主持省团队项目1项。他对中国大型真菌资源的调查、分类与食药用菌应用基础的研究尤为深入,在英国爱丁堡皇家植物园留学期间对澳大利亚与英国的大型真菌也有较深入的研究。学术发现与成果颇丰,他发现的30多种新物种已得到同行的承认并已公开发表,其中由他发现的新属腹粉孢牛肝菌属Gastrotylopilus已被国际最为权威的菌物学工具书《Dictionary of the Fung(i真菌词典)》(2001年)所收录。在食用菌栽培技术与野生品种驯化方面也取得了一定的成果。合作发表专著13本,译著1本,发表论文230多篇(28篇被SCI收录),申请专利22项(其中第一发明人专利2项),曾获国家科技进步奖1项、省部级科技奖励9项、省科学院奖励多项。1996年他荣获国务院政府特殊津贴。
