Recently, researchers from the Brigham and Women Hospital discovered new clues to treating cancer in the study of multiple sclerosis. In the latest issue of the journal Science Immunology, a team led by Dr. Howard Weiner found a way to use antibodies to precisely knock down Treg cells to boost the cancer immune response. They found that the antibody therapies reduce the rate of tumor growth in a variety of mouse tumor models and can therefore serve as a potential class of cancer therapies
