南通市旅游中等专业学校座落于狼山风景名胜区内,南依长江,北临新城,是全省最早的旅游专业学校之一,现为南通地区唯一的旅游类特色职业学校,江苏旅游培训基地,南通市旅游人才培训的基地,多次被评为江苏省和南通市职业教育先进集体。学校坚持把“推进专业阅读、建设书香校园”作为学校教师队伍建设的有效抓手,把阅读与学校教育教学改革相结合、把阅读与校园文化建设相结合,真正打造出“书香旅中”的职教特色品牌。
