今年是世界反法西斯战争暨中国抗日战争胜利60周年,9月3日(即日本在南京的投降签字日),我国政府在北京隆重集会纪念这一伟大胜利。中共中央总书记、中华人民共和国主席、中央军委主席胡锦涛发表重要讲话。在胡主席的讲话中,对抗日战争中苏联的援助、美国航空志愿队(“飞虎队”)来华与中国空军协同作战所作出的贡献和建立的功绩给予了高度评价。应邀与会的俄、美飞行员和原中国空军一些作战有功人员都非常感动。其中有一位89岁高龄的老者,胡主席亲自为他佩戴中国抗日战争胜利60周年纪念章,引起中外人士的极大关注和高度评价。
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the victory of the world anti-fascist war and the Chinese anti-Japanese war. On September 3 (that is, Japan’s surrender signature day in Nanjing), our government held a grand rally in Beijing to commemorate this great victory. Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the People’s Republic of China and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech. In his speech, President Hu spoke highly of the contributions made and the achievements made by the U.S. Air Volunteer Team (“Flying Squad”) to China in the joint operations with the PLAAF during the anti-Japanese war. Invited to attend the meeting of Russian and American pilots and the original Chinese Air Force some combat meritorious staff are very touched. Among them, an 89-year-old man and Chairman Hu himself personally worn the badge for the 60th anniversary of the victory of China’s anti-Japanese war, arousing great concern and high praise from Chinese and foreigners.
