By the end of 1990, there were 230 large and medium state-owned industrial enterprises in the city, accounting for only 29.9% of the total state-owned industrial enterprises. However, less than one-third of the enterprises finished the total industrial output value in 1990, accounting for 82.71% of the total output value of the state-owned industrial enterprises in the city.
