我国的测绘事业是在中国人民解放军测绘工作的基础上发展起来的,测绘系统有着重视思想政治工作的优良传统。测绘是国家建设的一项重要的基础性、先行性工作。目前,分布在全国各部门的测绘工作者已近30万人。测绘队伍是建设的尖兵,野外作业,高度流动、分散,常年爬山涉水,历尽千辛万苦;室内作业也需要经常埋头在暗室和半暗室,手眼并用,不容有丝毫差错。广大测绘工作者以对国家和人民高度负责的事业心,克服重重困难,踏遍祖国大地,测制出一幅幅新图。要带好这样一支在特殊艰苦环境下工作的队伍,思想政治工作尤为重要。因此,在过去的十几年中,我局领导干部一直很重视思想政治工作,把它作为带好队伍的传家宝。1986年,我们又成立了专职
The surveying and mapping undertaking in our country was developed on the basis of surveying and mapping work by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. The surveying and mapping system has a fine tradition of attaching importance to ideological and political work. Surveying and mapping is an important basic and pioneering work in national construction. At present, there are nearly 300,000 mapping agents distributed in various departments across the country. Surveying and Mapping team is a pioneer in the construction, field operations, highly mobile, scattered, perennial mountain wading, experienced untold hard work; indoor operations also need to often buried in the darkroom and semi-darkroom, hand and use, without any error. The vast numbers of surveying and mapping workers, with a high sense of dedication to the country and the people, overcame various difficulties and traveled the land of the motherland to test out a new map.
