随着全球经济的快速发展,各国间的科技水平在不断进步,国与国之间的交流也日益频繁起来。科技英语翻译是科技信息传播的重要渠道。随着经济的日益进步,较多的国家都设立了科技相关的英语研究地点,对其进行认真的研究。鉴于此,科技英语已成为一种独特的文化形式。为了取保国与国之间沟通的便利,也为了大众能及时了解最先进的科技内容,科技英语翻译的重要性是不言而喻的。本文以目的论视角下的科技英语翻译策略为研究中心,对其内涵、特点及策略进行了详细的分析,以期能推动科技英语翻译更好的发展。
With the rapid development of the global economy, the level of science and technology among various countries is constantly improving, and exchanges between countries are becoming more frequent. Sci-tech English translation is an important channel for the dissemination of scientific and technological information. As the economy continues to improve, more countries have established science and technology related English research sites and carefully studied them. In view of this, EST has become a unique form of culture. In order to secure the convenience of communication between countries and to keep the public informed of state-of-the-art content in a timely manner, the importance of S & T translation is self-evident. This thesis focuses on the translation strategy of EST in English from the perspective of teleology, and analyzes its connotation, characteristics and strategies in detail in order to promote the better development of EST translation.
