漳州市是全省的重点侨乡之一,改革开放以来向海外的移民在数量上呈现增长的趋势。与建国前移居海外的华侨、华人相比,新移民在职业、年龄、文化程度、居住国别等方面有新的特点。这些是漳州市发展社会生产力的重要资源,也是漳州市与世界联系的重要桥梁和纽带。发挥他们的作用,对于促进漳州市改革开放和经济建设具有重要的意义。为此,漳州市政协联合各县(市、区)政协对全市新移民与出国留学人员情况进行了专题调研。根据调查,漳州市现有新移民3400人,分布在43个国家。其中出国留学人员409人,分布在
Zhangzhou is one of the key hometown of overseas Chinese in the province. The number of overseas immigrants has been on the rise since the reform and opening up. Compared with overseas Chinese and Chinese who emigrated overseas before the founding of new China, new immigrants have new features in terms of occupation, age, educational level, and country of residence.
