目的探讨肿瘤转移抑制基因KAI1在上皮性卵巢癌中的表达,分析它与卵巢癌临床病理资料之间的关系,探索它在卵巢癌发生、发展过程中的作用。方法应用免疫组织化学链真菌抗生物素-过氧化物酶连接法(S-P法)对上皮性卵巢癌组织中KAI1蛋白的表达情况进行检测,结合肿瘤的病理学行为和临床随访资料进行综合分析。结果KAI1蛋白在上皮性卵巢癌中的阳性与在正常卵巢组织、良性上皮性卵巢肿瘤组织中的表达比较差别均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。KAI1蛋白在上皮性卵巢癌组中的表达与临床分期、组织学分级、有无淋巴结转移及有无腹水密切相关(P<0.05),而与年龄、病理类型无关(P>0.05)。结论KAI1蛋白有望成为上皮性卵巢癌的早期诊断及病情监测的生物学指标,通过对这种蛋白表达的检测有助于筛选可能发生卵巢癌转移的高危人群,指导临床随诊和治疗。KAI1蛋白的表达与上皮性卵巢癌的演变和转移密切相关,检测其表达情况对判断肿瘤的分化、临床进展以及估计预后有一定的参考价值。
Objective To investigate the expression of tumor suppressor gene KAI1 in epithelial ovarian cancer and to analyze its relationship with the clinicopathological data of ovarian cancer and explore its role in the development and progression of ovarian cancer. Methods The expression of KAI1 protein in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues was detected by immunohistochemical streptavidin-biotin-peroxidase (S-P) method. The pathological behavior and clinical follow-up data of tumor were analyzed comprehensively. Results The positive expression of KAI1 protein in epithelial ovarian cancer was significantly different from that in normal ovarian tissue and benign epithelial ovarian tumor (P <0.05). The expression of KAI1 in epithelial ovarian cancer was closely related to clinical stage, histological grade, lymph node metastasis and presence or absence of ascites (P <0.05), but not to age and pathological type (P> 0.05). Conclusions KAI1 protein is expected to be the biological indicator of early diagnosis and disease surveillance of epithelial ovarian cancer. The detection of this protein helps to screen the high-risk patients who may have ovarian cancer metastasis and guide clinical follow-up and treatment. The expression of KAI1 protein is closely related to the evolution and metastasis of epithelial ovarian cancer. Detecting the expression of KAI1 protein has some reference value for judging tumor differentiation, clinical progress and prognosis.
