国际元史学术讨论会于1986年9月下旬在南京大学中美文化中心举行,来自美国、日本、蒙古人民共和国、新加坡等国的二十三位外国学者和我国各高等院校、科研、新闻出版单位的七十余位代表参加了讨论。中国元史研究会会长蔡美彪教授在会上作了题为《中国元史研究的历程》的主旨报告。报告回顾了元史学研究的历程,指出,建国以来元史研究的进展主要体现在四个方面,一是从一般性的人物评价深入到社会、政治、经济制度的研究;二
International Yuan History Symposium was held in late September 1986 at the Sino-American Cultural Center of Nanjing University. Twenty-three foreign scholars from the United States, Japan, the People’s Republic of Mongolia and Singapore, as well as other institutions of higher learning, research, press and publication More than seventy representatives of the unit attended the discussion. Professor Cai Meibao, president of the Chinese Yuan History Research Association, delivered a keynote speech entitled “The History of Chinese Yuan History Research” at the conference. The report reviews the history of the study of the Yuan Dynasty and points out that since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, progress in the study of the Yuan Dynasty has been mainly manifested in four aspects.
