英语词序一向为语法学家所重视。传统语法揭示了大量的有关词序的语言现象。现代语法学家也进行了不少研究工作。他们根据信息传递的原理,力求从大量的语言资料中寻找出这些语言现象的本质,在英语研究中另辟了蹊径。我们也拟从这个方向作一些肤浅的探讨,有不当之处,望从事语言研究和外语教学的同志们指正。
English word order has always been the focus of grammar scholars. Traditional grammar reveals a large number of linguistic phenomena related to word order. Modern grammarian also conducted a lot of research work. According to the principle of information transmission, they sought to find out the essence of these linguistic phenomena from a large amount of linguistic data and opened up a new path in English studies. We also intend to make some superficial discussions in this direction. There are some inadequacies in this direction. We hope that those comrades engaged in language research and foreign language teaching will correct me.
