阐述了公共英语、医学英语、双语教学的概念,认为中医药专业的公共英语、医学英语、双语教学是提高学生利用英语成功进行中医药领域的交流与合作、培养国际中医药专业人才的关键。但目前中医高等院校的公共英语中医药特色不突出;医学英语课程设置缺乏体系;双语教学效果也不太理想;公共英语、医学英语、双语教学存在隔裂现象。因此推动公共英语、医学英语及双语教学衔接,提高英语教育教学质量,培养中医药外向型人才,业已刻不容缓。
The concept of public English, medical English and bilingual teaching is expounded. Public English, medical English and bilingual teaching of Chinese medicine are the keys to improve students’ successful communication and cooperation in the field of traditional Chinese medicine and to cultivate international TCM professionals. However, at present, the characteristics of public English medicine in Chinese colleges and universities are not conspicuous. There is a lack of system of medical English curriculum. The bilingual teaching effect is not very satisfactory. There is a gap between public English, medical English and bilingual teaching. Therefore, it is imperative to promote the convergence of public English, medical English and bilingual teaching, improve the quality of English education and teaching, and cultivate the export-oriented talents of Chinese medicine.
