January 29 At about 8 am, Air China Flight CA1087 took off from Beijing to Taipei. It not only officially announced the start of the charter flight for the Spring Festival of Taiwan businessmen in 2005, but also the first mainland airliner to fly from mainland China to Taiwan in the past 56 years.
