A new study shows that having a good neighbor gives you a healthier heart. The study, published in the recently published issue of the Journal of Epidemiology and Public Health, said that being a good neighbor and feeling close to the community residents may help individuals to reduce the risk of a heart attack. According to a new study published in the Global Burden of Disease, cardiovascular disease ranks the top of global mortality, killing only 15 million people by 2010 alone. Prior to this, most of the studies on neighborhood relations and health focused on the negative effects such as the intensity of fast-food restaurants, violence, noise, traffic and air pollution, the destruction of public property and the use of drugs.
