高玉臣,男,汉族,1937年5月生于长春市,中共党员,博士,教授,中国科学院院士,长期从事固体力学领域的教学和研究,现在北方交通大学力学研究所工作。 高玉臣院士1960年北京大学数力系本科毕业,1960年～1963年在北京大学数力系任教,1966年清华大学工程力学系研究生毕业(相当于博士学历),1968年～1970年在北京大学数力系任教,1970年～1994年在原哈尔滨船舶工程学院任教,1994年至今在北方交通大学力学研究所任教。他于1986年被聘为教授,1988年荣获政府特殊津贴,1989年由国务院批准为博士生导师。他曾先后到美国西北大学、澳大利亚悉尼大学、爱德雷得大学、加拿大
Gao Yuchen, male, Han nationality, was born in May 1937 in Changchun City. He is a member of CPC, doctor, professor and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has long been engaged in teaching and research in the field of solid mechanics. Now he works in Mechanics Institute of North Jiaotong University. Gao Yuchen Academician Peking University 1960 Department of mathematics graduated from 1960 to 1963 in Peking University Department of mathematics teaching, graduated from Tsinghua University in 1966 Engineering Mechanics graduate (equivalent to doctoral degree), 1968 to 1970 at Peking University Department of mathematics to teach, from 1970 to 1994 in the original Harbin Institute of Shipping taught in 1994 until now in the North Jiaotong University Institute of Mechanics. He was hired as a professor in 1986, received a special government allowance in 1988, and approved by the State Council in 1989 as a doctoral supervisor. He has successively went to the Northwestern University in the United States, Sydney University in Australia, Adder University, Canada
