中师物理课本第三册中,有一节关于声音共鸣的内容。在说明音叉共鸣箱的作用时,教材是这样写的:“音叉通常装在一个空箱上,就是利用空气柱跟音叉发生共鸣,来增强音叉的声音。”显然,这里认为音叉声音的增强仅仅是由于音叉和空气柱共鸣的原因。我以为这是不全面的。应该还有一个原因,那就是由于箱体与空气有足够的接触面,其振动能量易于向外辐射。从某种程度上看,这后一个原因似乎更为重要。
In the third volume of the physics textbook for middle school teachers, there is a section on sound resonance. In explaining the function of the tuning fork resonance box, the textbook is written like this: “The tuning fork is usually mounted on an empty box, which uses the air column to resonate with the tuning fork to enhance the sound of the tuning fork.” Obviously, the tuning fork sound is considered here. The enhancement is only due to resonance of the tuning fork and the air column. I think this is incomplete. There should be another reason that because the box has enough contact with the air, its vibrational energy is easy to radiate outwards. To some extent, this latter reason seems to be more important.
