Objective: To investigate the relationship between cellular immune function and severity of disease in children with hand-foot-mouth disease. METHODS: A total of 151 patients with PICU and Child Health Care in our hospital from May 2014 to May 2015 were 53 cases of severe HFMD, 48 cases of normal HFMD and 50 cases of normal control group. The percentages of T cell subsets such as CD3, CD4, CD8, CD4 / CD8 were detected by flow cytometry and compared. Results: The detection value of CD3, CD4, CD8, CD4 / CD8 of children with HFMD was significantly lower than that of the normal control group, especially in children with severe neuropathic pulmonary edema, the difference was statistically significant . Conclusion: There is significant cellular immune dysfunction in HFMD children.
