近来,图书馆活动开始受到大众传媒越来越多的关注。2005年3月9日,北京大学教授漆永祥先生在学术批评网上发了一篇题为《究竟是“图书馆”还是“藏书馆”?——发生在苏州图书馆古籍部的故事》的万字长文,对苏州图书馆的善本古籍提供利用提出批评。该文很快于3月10日被转载到天涯社区的“闲闲书话”版,以及“缘为书来综合文化社区”,跟贴均上百,讨论得十分热烈。随后,3月25日的《中华读书报》和3月28日的《南方都市报》均报道了此事。发生在苏州图书馆的事情一时成为界内的热门话题。有关的讨论还散见于网络上几个热门的专业博客中,如“老槐也博客”、“超平的博客”等等。北京大学信息管理系图书馆学专业的研究生们也以此事为案例,在课上课下进行了热烈的讨论。以下3篇文章代表了讨论中出现的主要观点和看法。
Recently, the activity of the library began to receive more and more attention from the mass media.
