The monoclonal antibody NCC-ST-439 is a monoclonal antibody made by using human gastric cancer cell line St-4 as an immunogen and has a high discovery rate in various cancer tissues. In order to investigate its significance for the diagnosis of cancer, the authors developed a sandwich radioimmunoassay (SRIA), which is reported below. The subjects and methods were 233 healthy blood donors, 119 normal pregnant women, 284 malignant tumors and 119 benign diseases. After intraperitoneal administration of pristane-treated hybridomas to mice, the ascitic fluids were prepared using FPLC high-speed liquid chromatography system. The 125I-labeled secondary antibody was prepared by the lactoperoxidase/glucose oxidase method and its antibody activity ratio was 3 to 4 mCi/mg protein.
