在中国民主革命运动中 ,中国知识分子是最先觉醒的成分 ,五四运动就清楚地表明了这一点。五四时期知识分子觉醒的重要标志是 :从对帝国主义抱有幻想到认清其真面目 ,从孤军奋战到认识工农群众的巨大力量 ,从面对眼花缭乱的社会思潮无所适从到选择了马克思主义。五四时期知识分子的新觉醒具有重要意义 :正是有了先进知识分子的觉醒 ,才有了整个中华民族的觉醒。同时 ,先进知识分子的新觉醒为中共的创立在组织上以及思想理论上准备了条件
In the course of China’s democratic revolutionary movement, Chinese intellectuals were the first elements to be awakened, as clearly demonstrated by the May Fourth Movement. An important symbol of the awakening of intellectuals during the May 4th Movement is that they have chosen Marxism from the confusion of the social ideological trend at a loss from knowing everything about the imperialists to recognizing their true colors and from fighting alone and understanding the masses of workers and peasants. The new awakening of intellectuals during the May 4th Movement is of great significance. It is with the awakening of advanced intellectuals that the entire Chinese nation awakens. At the same time, the new awakening of advanced intellectuals has prepared the conditions for the establishment of the CCP both in terms of organization and ideology and theory
