有人担心,高校和研究机构都忙于建设智库,没有人再潜心做学术了;也有人担心,学术期刊的生存空间将会被进一步挤压。这样的担心不是没有道理。但是,我认为,智库不会削弱学术研究,也不会挤压学术期刊的生存空间;相反,智库一刻也离不开学术研究,一刻也离不开学术期刊。
Some people worry that universities and research institutes are busy building a think tank, and no one is devoting themselves to academic studies. Others worry that academic journals’ living space will be further squeezed. This worry is not without reason. However, in my opinion, think tanks will not weaken academic research and will not squeeze the living space of academic journals. On the contrary, think tanks can not do without academic research for a moment, and they can not do without academic journals.
