The “Shaki Massacre” in Guangzhou in 1925 was one of the major events of the first revolutionary civil war in China. This is another madness followed by the imperialists in their attempt to suppress the Chinese people’s anti-imperialist movement after the “May Fourth Massacre” Massacre atrocities. However, contrary to what the imperialists hoped for during the atrocities, this tragedy further promoted the awakening of the Chinese people, especially the people of Guangdong, and promoted the long-term adherence to and deepening of the general strike in Hong Kong and Kong. As Comrade Deng Zhongxia said: The Shakey massacre “has aroused the people of Guangzhou to indignation and to resist Hong Kong. The general strike in Hong Kong lasted for more than two years.” “The Shaki massacre is the continuation of the fundamental motive force for discharging British rule and the strike at the provincial port is a concrete manifestation of the implementation of the British rule.” Not only that, the massacre of the anti-war war in Guangdong was also widely supported by mass tragedies.
