“Zhuangzi” quite love the Confucius story. Examining these stories in detail, we divide the title of Confucius into “Confucius” and “Zhong Ni”, which implicitly relates to the identity and shaping of the narrator of the story about himself - taking Confucius as the sage and using the image of Confucius When talking about Taoism positively, both kinds of salutations can be used. When Confucianism is described as a Confucian disciple, Confucius is bound to call it “son.” Understanding this phenomenon helps to understand the cultural standpoint of Chuang Tzu about Confucian stories and its attitude toward the Confucian sage and also helps to understand the nature and composition of other handed down and unearthed documents about the story of Confucius.
