The anti-bird wings preserved in Burma’s amber provide us with a unique opportunity to get fresh details from these seals on the animals in Time Capsules. Amber provides the most vivid sample ever for this extinct toothed bird. They show that anti-bird juveniles have feathers similar to adult birds at only hummingbird size, and that feathers are very similar in structure and growth to live birds.
