Since the middle of the thirteenth century, the initials of “Ha Lezhang” and “Chahanzhang” began to be found in the Mongolian historical documents of the Yuan Dynasty. Most of the problems have been accurately explained by the research and examination of experts and scholars both at home and abroad. However, to some of the problems, so far, there is no generally accepted conclusion in the academic circle. In this paper, on the basis of summarizing the previous studies, the author, based on the relevant records of historical documents in Mongolian and Tibetan languages, probes into some of the outstanding issues discussed above, confirms and examines the above issues, and for the first time makes clear that “ The characters ”Hahazhang“ and ”Chahanzhang“ originate from the transliteration of the Mongolian compound nouns ”Qara Jang“ and ”caγan Jang“, respectively, whereas the Mongolian ”Jang (Chinese transliteration) As ’Zhang’), the word “” is derived from the transliteration of the Tibetan language “Jang / l Jang /”, Chinese transliteration of ’Jiang’, ’Ginger’, ’Qiang’, etc.).
