《文昭关》,是全部《伍子胥》中的一折戏,也是唱功最繁重的一折戏。这是春秋战国时的一段故事,见《列国演义》。伍子胥,又名伍员,原是楚国的一位大将,曾在秦王邀集各国诸侯临潼赴会途中夺回宝物,又在临潼会上力举千斤铜鼎,使诸侯惊服。秦王畏惧,不敢留难,并将女孟赢许配楚国太子建。楚平王昏庸无道,贪恋美色,竟将秦女孟赢纳为己妻,而把齐女马昭仪许婚太子建,以金顶轿和银顶轿
