2015年春节期间,中央电视台新闻频道播出《中国人的活法》系列节目,其中一期关于“大衣哥”朱之文的《想唱就唱》引起了较大的社会反响,在央视最核心的几个新闻节目中轮番播出,这在中央电视台以往的节目安排中并不多见。《想唱就唱》讲述的是一个农民出身的选秀歌手的故事,节目将更多复杂的社会问题融入到人物命运中,以小见大,从小人物的命运反观社会价值观的变迁,对大型主题报道有一定的借鉴意义,也是对以往传统的主流宣传的一个突破。
