婺源建筑中的木雕艺术的在追求自然实用美、本真美的表象化的同时,隐含着强烈的儒家思想的影响,木雕艺术遵循传统风俗,具有意境美,作为中国木雕艺术历史中的重要组成部分。笔者作为艺术教育工作者,研究婺源木雕艺术的目的是了解他并很好的继承它,使其更好地融入到现代艺术发展的大潮中,为创造有中国特色的又具有国际视野的新时代艺术而做出贡献。
