Continental Scientific Drilling is a special high-tech engineering project in the field of drilling engineering. Drilling objects are penetrated into a hard and dense upper mantle and built into a special permanent observation laboratory that extends deep into the Earth. The United States calls it “a strategic InfraStructure,” a Japanese feat that is another feat after the lunar flight and is a cutting-edge discipline in earth science.
