Puding Hydropower Station, located on the Sancha River in the south of Wujiang River in the upper reaches of the Wujiang River in Guizhou Province, passed the tenacious struggle of more than 1,000 employees of China Hydropower Bureau, and the first unit won the grid-connected power on June 1, 1994. Installed 3 sets, with a total capacity of 75,000 kW Puding Hydropower Station, is the national “85” key scientific and technological projects. The dam of 75m in height is the first time that China uses roller compacted concrete materials and dam construction technology.
