Bacterial wilt disease [Corynebacterium insid-iosum (Mc Culoch) Jensen (1934)] is a devastating disease of alfalfa. In 1926, Jones and others first discovered in the United States. Later, the Soviet Union, Canada, European countries, South America, Australia, New Zealand, India and other found the disease epidemic. Because of its great harm, scientific workers in cultivation, breeding, pathology and other aspects of pasture cultivation in various countries attach great importance. Research reports continue to be published. However, our country has not reported so far. In view of the fact that alfalfa has been introduced into the area from many places in recent years, the disease can be passed on by seeds. Therefore, whether the disease really does not exist in our country or has not yet been discovered due to insufficient research has been difficult to determine. In order to help detect the disease in time and eliminate its spread, it is proposed to provide a systematic introduction to the disease for reference by the relevant comrades.
