1980年民主德国机床研究中心的车床部主任西蒙博士(Dr.Simon)来我国成都工具研究所考察,参观了陶瓷刀试验室。见我国在炭管炉中烧结成的纯氧化铝陶瓷为黑色,深感兴趣,将各种形状的陶瓷刀带回几片。西蒙博士回国后,取民主德国的Hc20—M牌号和西德的Widalox—R牌号的陶瓷刀片和我国的AM牌号陶瓷刀片作了切削寿命比较试验。1982年将该比较试验报告赠成都工具研究所去民主德国考察代表团。由于目前我国还不具备高转速
In 1980, Dr Simon, the director of the Lathe of the German Machine Tool Research Center of Democratization, came to our Institute of Tools in Chengdu to visit and visited the ceramic knife laboratory.
