云南白药具有活血止痛、解毒消肿的功效,常用于治疗跌打损伤、淤血肿痛、咳血便血及皮肤感染等病症。但河南省中医院副主任药师李中心却指出,它还可用于内科、外科、妇科、儿科、五官科、皮肤科等多种疾病治疗,并已被制成散剂、胶囊、气雾剂、膏剂、酊水剂、创可贴等多种剂型。婴儿脐炎:先用生理盐水洗去患处的分泌物,然后将1克云南白药粉用消毒纱布敷盖包扎,隔日换药1次。
