In recent years, studies have shown that hypertensive patients with hyperuricemia increased risk of cardiovascular events. The article introduces the epidemiological basis of the relationship between hyperuricemia and hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, and focuses on the choice of uric acid lowering drugs and the effect of hypertensive drugs on uric acid excretion in hypertensive patients with hyperuricemia.
