Three sprouting methods (ISTA, standard germination test, low-temperature germination test and field seedling emergence) were conducted with 428 maize seeds over a period of four years. The results showed that the germination test under extremely low temperature (8.5 ℃ in dark place after 18 days at 28.5 ℃ Light for 4 days) provided reliable predictions of emergence in the field.Suitable soil conditions encountered after sowing in 1991, low temperature treatment germination rate and field sprouting related extremely significant. In general, ISTA standard germination test and No significant correlation was found between the germination rate of the germination test and the emergence of the field in the low temperature treatment. The germination rate of the low temperature treatment should be not less than 95% to ensure good emergence (≥90%) in the field.Based on the result, The planting densities should be between 110% and 115% .Using the low temperature treatment test, the sowing amount of the formal test with the same density can be reduced to the minimum. After experimenting on the effect of low temperature treatment on the seeds (8.5 ℃ for a long time) To simulate the worst field conditions for official variety trials, the cryogenic treatment test results are useful for tissue variety testing to prevent sowing of inferior seeds, in these cases low The seedling emergence rate not only detrimental to the seed itself, but also has a borderline effect.A four-year experiment comparing the ISTA standard germination test, the low temperature test and the field seedling emergence test was conducted to study the effect of corn cultivation conditions such as Belgium Correlation of several methods. To ensure field emergence, the seeds were sown for more than 15 years on continuous crop corn. Another purpose was to infer the germination of seeds corresponding to the low-temperature test that gave better field emergence under poor field conditions This value is defined as 90%, and it is a basic condition for testing corn without significant risk (density).
