The Sigma gold deposit, located in Vald’or, south-east of the Abidibon greenstone belt in North West Québec, is a typical Archean vein-type gold deposit that has been producing 11 × 10-7 gold gold since its opening in 1937 More than grams. Rokert and Bro-wn have described mine geology and veins in detail and only their features are outlined here. The area is dominated by the Archean ultramafic to the Chang-Ying volcanic rocks, with a large number of felsic intrusive rocks. Due to the regional deformation, the volcanic rock layer now extends east-west and slopes northward, with the top of the rock layer generally facing south. Two-dimensional regional structure is to the east-west vertical structure.
