“科教兴国”是中共中央为实现我国四个现代化而提出的一项重大发展战略。自中共十五大以后,党和政府加大了对科技与教育事业的支持力度,一些初步改革措施开始出台。本世纪末至下世纪初是实施科教兴国战略的关键时期,为此,本刊特辟“专题访谈”栏目,发表有关的谈话。对在百忙中接受采访的资深学者、政府部长、大学校长等,在此表示诚挚的谢意。由于访谈内容充实丰富,多有灼见,不忍删节,兹决定分期刊出。
“Rejuvenating China through science and education” is a major development strategy put forward by the CPC Central Committee for the realization of the four modernizations in our country. Since the 15th CPC National Congress, the party and government have stepped up their support for the cause of science and education and education, and some preliminary reform measures have begun to be introduced. From the end of this century to the beginning of the next century is a crucial period for the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education. To this end, we published a special column entitled “Special Topics Interviews” and delivered relevant remarks. We are deeply grateful to the senior scholars, government ministers and university presidents who have interviewed during their busy schedule. Due to enrich the content of the interview, more insights, could not bear to delete, it is decided to publish it in installments.
