为了减轻驾驶员的劳动强度,在“371”自行火炮通用底盘上研制了一种:用一个助力缸实现六个挡之变速助力操纵机构。助力缸的工作原理为行程随动。本助力机构用一个助力缸实现六个档助力。比苏制步兵战车一个助力缸管两个档助力的结构简单。本助力机构之闭锁器设计在变速杆和摇臂上是一种新结构。不同于其它坦克之闭锁器。一个闭锁器是可实现六个挡闭锁,且由于闭锁器设计在变速杆上,使变速杆在空挡位置上能正确定位,因而确保变速杆选档灵活。本助力机构具有使用性能较好、工作可靠、结构紧凑、体积小、重量轻和成本低等优点。
