The Ninth National Center for Local-History Work Exchange Conference, hosted by the Local Records Office of Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government, was held in Guangzhou City from November 11 to November 16, 2012. The theme of the conference is: to summarize the practice of the first round and the second round of revision, focusing on the basic theory of chi square and compiling theory, providing theoretical guidance for the second round of revision work and promoting the construction of local discipline and the scientific development of local history. Tian Jiazhi, member of the Chinese local history guide group and party secretary of the office, Tian Jia was invited to attend the meeting and make a speech. Chen Qiang, Director of the Local Records Office of Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, Gong Erzhen, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
