被誉为“绿色抒情诗”的锦屏县位于贵州省黔东南苗族侗族自治州东部,总面积1596平方公里,是贵州省的东大门,距黎平机场45公里,距枝柳线78公里,距省会贵阳434公里。全县21.34万人,有侗、苗、汉等17个民族,少数民族人口占总人口的85.2%。锦屏县素有“杉木之乡”的称誉,盛产杉木和楠竹,是我国南方典型的集体林区县,也是贵州省重点林业县,森林面积133万亩,覆盖率达到58%,木材蓄积量406万立方米。县内地下矿产蕴藏量大,有金矿、石灰石矿、陶瓷高岭土、水晶石、硅矿、工艺石材板岩等。地上资源丰富,有国家保护的一、二级珍稀动植物。地方特色产品琳琅满目,以野桂花蜜、山茶油、小香桔、山核桃、大板栗等名优特产品享誉省内外,具有较大的开发潜力。全县各乡镇均已开通程控电话和移动电话。贵州第二大江——清水江流经县境57公里,
Jinping County, known as “Green Lyrics ” is located in the eastern part of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in Guizhou Province with a total area of 1,596 square kilometers. It is the east gate of Guizhou Province, 45 kilometers away from Liping Airport, 434 kilometers from the provincial capital Guiyang. The county has 213,400 people, including 17 ethnic groups such as Dong, Miao and Han, and the minority population accounts for 85.2% of the total population. Jinping County, known as the “hometown of Chinese fir”, is rich in Chinese fir and bamboo.
