以往,浙江省在漂流物多的河道上建造的桥墩,一般均采用实体浆砌块石或块石混凝土桥墩。这种桥墩圬工体积较大,既费工料,结构又笨重,在处理基础时,还要增加工作量或基柱数量。而且墩身周围设有斜坡,对石料的安砌或模板的制作均带来了麻烦。为了消除上述缺点,我省最近设计了一些薄壁墩(如图一及图二)。最薄壁厚仅35厘米。显得结构轻巧、外形美观、材料节省、造价低廉。以下表所示甲桥为例,全墩圬工体积比一般桥墩节省达74%;墩身自重大大减轻,相应减少了基础工作量或基桩数量。经过经济比较,每个墩子(包括基础)在造价上可比一般桥墩节约投资4500元左右。设计时,根据外力作用情况
In the past, the piers constructed on river courses with many drifts in Zhejiang Province were generally constructed of solid block masonry stones or concrete block piers.
