有万里长江第一桥之称的九江长江特大桥,全长7675m,是迄今为止长江上最大的双层式公铁两用桥,有双线铁路、4车道公路,建桥工程中应用了大量新技术、新材料、新工艺。 由我国科技人员自行研究设计的九江长江特大桥防风抗震装置,在国际上处于领先地位。 孙口黄河特大桥,位于山东、河南两省交界处,全长6673.9m。该桥工程艰巨、技术复杂。钻孔桩和沉井基础底部均在地表40m以下。上部结构采用无竖杆桁式的四联4×108m的连续钢桁梁,并首次采用整体焊接节点外拼接新技术。
