本文分析了我国痘苗病毒天坛株基因组两端的HindⅢ-C和-B片段所编码的多肽,并与其他痘苗病毒株和正痘病毒进行了比较。结果表明,天坛株基因组HindII-C和-B片段共有46个主要的开放读码框架(PRFs),其中一个ORF属于痘苗病毒基因组中第一次发现的与天花病毒相似的基因编码区。此外,天坛株基因组丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂Ⅱ的编码区由于移码变异而分成两个不同ORFs。与其他痘苗病毒株相比,天坛株基因组有多个ORFs的缺失,以上现象提示,天坛株在生物学性状上与其他毒株的差异可能与此有关。
In this paper, the polypeptides encoded by HindIII-C and -B fragments at both ends of the Tiantan strain of the vaccinia virus in China were analyzed and compared with other vaccinia virus strains and orthopoxviruses. The results showed that there are 46 major open reading frames (PRFs) in the HindII-C and -B fragments of the Tiantan strain. One of the ORFs belongs to the same genomic lesion-like gene coding region found in the genome of vaccinia virus. In addition, the coding region of the genomic serine protease inhibitor II of the Tiantan strain is divided into two different ORFs due to the frame shift mutation. Compared with other vaccinia virus strains, the Tiantan strain has multiple ORFs missing in the genome. The above phenomena suggest that the differences between the biological properties of the Tiantan strain and other strains may be related to this.
