[Object] To observe the effects of low-temperature swimming and Ginkgo biloba extract(GBE) joint treatment on the blood lipid metabolism of HLP rats.[Method]Fed with high-fat forage for 42 d,the hyperlipidemia rats were obtained and randomly divided into 4 groups(N=3),i.e.,control group,GBE group,low-temperature swimming group,low-temperature swimming combined with GBE group.The contents of cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein-TC(HDL-C),MDA and superoxide dismutase(SOD) in serum,liver and heart were determined.[Result] The hepatic mass index and SOD activity were decreased in each group;TC and TG of rat serum were remarkably reduced in low-temperature swimming and GBE joint treatment group.[Conclusions] Low-temperature swimming combined with GBE method can regulate the blood lipid metabolism of HLP rats,and lower TC and TG significantly,which is helpful for improving hyperlipidemia.
